| We, the members of the
Greater Pleasant Temple Baptist Church, are caring and sharing
people. We are an evangelistic congregation, Christ centered, People
oriented, Bible believing and Holy Spirit led.
Our Mission, here at The Temple, is to
worship the Lord in the beauty of Holiness and to teach the doctrines of
our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Our Goal here at The Temple is to win
souls for Christ. Our method for winning souls is Christian witnessing.
Our priority here at The Temple is to
empower everyone that enters into our sacred territory; through preaching,
teaching and singing. We believe that on the profession of our faith that
Jesus Christ died on a Cross and was raised from the dead.
We here at The Temple further believe
that it is our duty to walk in Christian love; lifting up the name of the
Lord, knowing that there is only one Lord, one Faith, and one Baptism.
